Job Description

Mundial Media has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Business Development to drive strategic partnerships and content partnerships for our leading AI-enabled contextual advertising platform. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, increasing distribution, creating partnerships, and building strong relationships within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and positivity 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and publisher growth
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new strategic partnerships and content partnerships to enhance the platform's product offerings and revenue streams
  • Ideate and negotiate deals that grow both existing and new lines of business/revenue streams
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, editorial, marketing, and business operations, to execute business development initiatives 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Represent Mundial Media at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and build relationships with potential partners and clients 
  • Work closely with other members of the executive team to align business development initiatives with the platform's overall goals and objectives

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in business development in a large media company
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, content partnerships, and business development initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively to deliver on company objectives 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills 
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Bachelor's degree and deep understanding of the digital media landscape
